Contractor Reporting
Last updated: August 28, 2025
Contractor Payout Reporting allows you to easily calculate what you owe your contractors and staff for their work. You can access it under the Reporting section.
To view data, first set a date range. You can then apply additional filters to refine your report:
Date Range – Required for data to appear. You can select a specific date or a broader range (e.g., month or year).
Photographer – Useful if you have multiple photographers but want to view results for a specific individual.
Service Status – If you’re using service status in Project Chat, this filter lets you include only services marked as completed for billing. If you’re not using this feature, select all statuses except Archive to ensure photographers receive credit for all orders.
Travel Fee – By default, 100% of the travel fee is added to the computation. You can adjust this (e.g., 90%) if you want to share the travel fee with the photographer while retaining the remainder.

You can also download this report to Excel in the top-right corner.
In it's current form, Contractor Payout Reporting double counts orders with more than one photographer. Meaning, if two photographers are on an order with a Completed Service, we will assign the full $ value of that order to both photographers.
Group By Photographers
In the top-right corner, you’ll find a toggle called “Group by Photographers.” This changes how the payout data is displayed:
Enabled – Shows a payout summary per photographer, including all orders and travel fees within the selected date range.

Disabled – Shows a payout summary per order. If a photographer has multiple shoots within the date range, their name will appear multiple times.

How to Set Up
Each service or package includes a Contractor Payout or Payout section where you can specify how much your Photographers are paid. The pricing is determined by square-footage tiers or custom tiers, depending on the pricing model you are using.

Once an order is scheduled, the assigned photographer(s) will receive the payout. In this case, since two photographers are assigned to the order, the payout will still come from the package payout, even if the services are split between them. Both photographers will receive the same payout amount as specified in the package.
